The 42nd International Conference on Computers and Industrial Engineering (CIE42) will be the next in the series of conferences under the same name. The series aims to disseminate recent theoretical and methodological developments, significant technical applications, case studies and survey results in the areas of Computers, Industrial Engineering, Management and other related areas.

The conference will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town, South Africa during the period 16 – 18 July 2012. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for researchers and professionals of industrial engineering from all over the world to exchange their ideas and experiences, gain insight from industry leaders and also enjoy Cape Town and South Africa in winter!

Important dates:

  • (Extended to) 16 March 2012: Submission of Abstracts for Peer Review tracks. See Call for Papers on right for details.
  • 16 April 2012: Submission of full papers for accepted abstracts in the Peer Reviewed tracks deadline. See Call for Papers on right for details.
  • 31 May 2012: Notification of Paper Acceptance.
  • 25 June 2012: Submission of Camera Ready paper.
  • 31 May 2012: Early bird registration deadline. Please see Registrations on the right to register.
  • 1 June 2012: Deadline for abstracts of non-peer reviewed submissions.
  • 15 June 2012: Registration date deadline for authors of peer reviewed papers, to secure space in the proceedings.
  • 30 June: Registration date deadline (here-after late registration fees will apply).
  • 16-18 July: CIE42 Conference.
