Webinar on Digital Humanities

Venue: Virtual @ http://tex.sun.ac.za

May 28, 2014

The digital humanities (DH) are currently attracting considerable attention. According to an OCLC Research Report some research libraries are committing significant resources to creating DH centers. But questions about whether such an investment is warranted persist across the cultural heritage community.

During this webinar Ingrid Thomson will give a brief overview of what Digital Humanities are all about, and what the role of the library is as far as it concerns service delivery.
